  Project Description:

  “USAID/Nepal’s Education for Income Generation (EIG) Program in Nepal” was implemented by Winrock International in all 15 districts of mid west Nepal from 2008-2012. This was a 5-years project incepted in February 2008. The target group of the program was Dalit, Janjati, women, DAGs and conflict victims.

  Alliance Nepal implemented skills training to 1,466 beneficiaries in the period of 2008-2012 with 87.33% employment with minimum income of NRs. 3,000 in Nepal, NRs.5,000 in India and NRs.12,000 per month abroad.

  Besides, Alliance Nepal was also mandated to design and develop employable skill training programs, revise the existing ones for making it compatible to present market and employment context, provide Training of Trainers (ToT) courses to selected trainers in the region
