    He did MS with specialization in HRD and major in Economics. He has developed a cadre of facilitators and trainers in the field of Gender, Strategic Planning, Management and Institutional Development. He has been providing professional support to bi-lateral and multi-lateral projects and programmes in the different aspects of management and institutional development for last 25 years. He has worked as a consultant in the Philippines, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, India, Thailand, Mauritius, Malaysia, Namibia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Switzerland, Germany, Vietnam and Indonesia. Has supported in Nepal and abroad in the conceptualisation of project’s long term strategies and operational modalities for more than 70 different projects in the area of infrastructure, social and community development, and specific projects in Health, natural resource management etc. He has reviewed and evaluated about 20 projects using participatory process. Did also support in the institutional and human resource development of 11 NGOs and developed them as the intermediaries in different parts of Nepal. He previously worked in a Government organization, Industrial Services Centre, for providing non-banking support to the public and private sector industries in Nepal for their human resource development initiatives. He has assessed training needs of these industrial ventures in Nepal. As a senior level HRD Officer of Swiss Cooperation Office and Helvetas, has developed their HRD policies and supported all its projects in mainstreaming HRD strategies and activities. Other related services to the Swiss projects in Nepal were facilitation of participatory workshops and seminars in project design, operational strategies, self-evaluation and project review. Has developed institutional capacity of SDC, SNV-Nepal, and HARP/DFID in Gender mainstreaming and has trained resource persons to further implement the strategies and related activities. Areas of specialization for consultancies are in the field of using participatory approaches for institutional development, organizational strengthening and project review. Has a hands-on and effective methodological competence in dealing with macro (policy) and meso (alliance building) level decision making processes. Presently responsible to oversee smooth implementation of “Training for Employment” a SDC project, as the Managing Director of Alliance Nepal. He has designed the concept and methodological process for preparing district level strategic plan as well as periodic plan through participatory process.
