Community Resilience Program/SABAL

  • Alliance Nepal, previously a consortium partner of USAID funded Save the Children’s SABAL Community Resilience Program (2014-2019) , has withdrawn its partnership from consortium due to some technical constraints. However, it is currently one of the two implementing partners to conduct vocational training program in six SABAL districts (Makawanpur, Sindhuli, Ramechhap, Udaypur, Okhaldhunga and Khotang).

Alliance Nepal has been awarded three districts (Makawanpur, Okhaldhunga and Khotang) to implement vocational training 4 trades (Mason, Carpentry, Plumbing and Building Electrician). Prior to implementing vocational training, Alliance Nepal conducted a ToT on Mason (ERBT) for 5 days in Hetauda from 22nd to 26th November 2015 with financial support of SABAL. Training graduates have been deployed as ‘trainers’ on Mason trade in six districts. .
